Event Description:
Starting in June, be sure to drop by weekly at the Eula Hunt Beck Florence Public Library and pick up the latest segment of “Abigail & Rumpus, the Green Dinosaur.” Spend the summer months joining in on their adventures as they explore the County Line Ranch. Enjoy the story written by Patty Rodgers from Florence, with illustrations by Sarah Akers from Briggs.
About the story:
When snapped for the very first time to Abigail’s rumpus, the green dinosaur comes to life and talks in a voice that only Abigail can hear. Moving as one, the two become fast friends while making discoveries at the barn, learning to call up the elk that live on the ranch, and facing their fears of the wild animals decorating their bedroom wall. Grow with Abby as she struggles to hear what’s going on in the world around her and learns to be brave like her soldier father stationed far, far away in Iraq.
